Don't be surprised when your toddler recognizes a piccolo in a song, or tells you that it is FORTE (loud) or PIANO (soft)! Two- and three-year old children delight in showing off their singing and dancing skills, and you'll be amazed at their developing musicality. Songs, poems and rhymes build reading and school skills too!
This class builds the perfect foundation for future music lessons.

Ages 2-3
This music-filled class celebrates the unique joys of your growing child. Each week your child will love singing, dancing, and playing instruments with you and her new friends and you’ll love helping her practice a wide variety of abilities such as gross and fine motor skills, turn-taking, social skills, and active listening. In class, we’ll also share tips and ideas for using music throughout the week. Plus, the fun (and learning!) continue with the Kindermusik@Home digital home materials, including music from class, musical activities, and each month’s story (a new theme, story and album each month!
*Children should be able to have a "back and forth" conversation with an adult when they move to this class (there is a lot of vocal play and exploration in this class), be exploring compound movements (can your child march AND clap their hands at the same time?), pretend play emerges (sandblocks lined up might become a train), and be able to imitate rhythm patterns and clap them back.
**3 year old children will transition to "Instrument Explorers" around 3.5 years old, based on teacher recommendation.
